Trends that Should Die with 2014

6 clothing trends that should die in 2014

Well it's finally a new year, which means it's time for a new start. Style is one of the most important things to me. I have always been a girly girl my whole life. You need that outfit, makeup, and hair or point each and everyday! Having the same style for 365 days gets old real quick. I'm sure other girls feel the same way I do so I decided it would be a good idea to express my feelings about the main thing we need to leave back in 2014 when it comes to style.

Boot cut pants: I feel like they should have went out of style years ago but people keep wearing them. My question is why? There nothing cute at all. They don't tuck into boots good at all. They just puff up at the top. Then if you wear them with tennis shoe they cover your whole shoe. Then tell me what's the point of buying cute shoes? Exactly!

Baggy shirts: At first I thought these shirts were adorable but then one day I realized they were just making my figure look worse. They made me look a lot bigger than I was. They never show your actually figure. Yes this might be good for you if your bigger but when your small like me it doesn't help one bit. Like I said it makes you look fat! Why would you want that when you can show off your small figure?

Vests: These make you look even worse then baggy shirts do. They at very puffy which means they are thick. When you have thick clothing on you it's obviously not going to make look very thin. They are extremely hot to wear throughout the day. Just theres nothing really great about them.

High waist shorts: I feel like pants are supposed to sit right bellow where your hip bones are placed. High waist pants go up way to high. When you shirts in it makes it so you are able to see that your button is places higher then your belly button how is that hot? When you go to wear a crop top you can't even see your stomach. I just can't stand them yes they may be something new but I'm not fond of them.

Shirts that cover your butt: They make it so you can no longer see your pants and I don't know about you I always have cute pants. They always have a cute design on the butt pockets of them. If I was to wear a long shirt like a lot of girls have been it would defeat the purpose of buying cute jeans. It also makes it look like you have a really flat butt and most girls rather have their butt have some kind of bubble to it.

When girls in high school still wear backpacks: I feel that once your in high school it's time to get ride of that backpack and start carrying a purse. Backpacks make you look so plain. There's no fashion in them. You can't see the back of your outfit anymore so it defeats the person of wearing those cute shirts with lace in the back. It makes you look like a nerd that's all about school. Yeah I'm not a fan! You need to look like your actually grow up and ready when you leave the house.

After hearing about why I would like to leave these types of clothing in the past I hope you agree with me. You've heard my reason on why they are no longer high in fashion. Let's start a new year with new style. Something fabulous! I hope someone out there agrees with what I've had to say. Goodbye 2014 hello 2015.

Baggy shirts yeah they're not the pretties but it's not about being pretty it's about being confortible. Backpacks are there to put your books in, instead of carrying them around in your arms. Some people like to ware clothes that cover them, but that's not a bad thing, I ware clothes that cover me, most people say I look pretty. Also people ware things like what you wrote about because they're themselfs and not something their NOT.

I totally agree with you Kylie, vests NEED to go. I think that they are so dumb looking. So do boot up pants. I agree with all of these accept the whole backpack thing. I very clearly do not think purses should be used as backpacks. They were for ment for a women to carry her things, not a teenager going to school. Love ya.

Lyndee, like I said I would like it if someone agrees with me. If not that's totally fine! I think all these things need to go because in my eyes baggy shirts look lazy same with backpacks. You may have a different opinion but that's because you have the lazy/whatever look and I have the dressed up look. We are two different people with different styles. Enough said.

Sierra, I'm sure there's so many girls that agree with you when it comes to the whole backpack thing. I guess I've just fallen in love with purses. <3 I mean I like the fashion backpacks but not the simple ones. You know me! Love you too doll.

First i want to say that i hope you are an influence to a lot of people because I agree. I think you did a great job with the way you wrote this because it was like you were actualy here talking to me. You were totally correct on the styles you chose because too manny people are stil trying to make thies styles work when they clearly don't. L ike the high hip shorts. I mean what is the point in that. Keep it up It sounds great.

I am not too familiar with good fashion, so I would have to agree with you that all those things need to die, especially the hiked up pants, and the long shirts that cover girl's pants. I agree with what you have written because you are expressing your way of fashion but not just for you but women of all ages.
