Examine closely the cover art. List a possible number of topics that the book could be about. What do you think the author means by the title?
Your response should be at least two full paragraphs. Remember a paragraph is four to seven sentences.

The cover has the word anger on it and talks about that he'll do anything to get a girl back. He has a happy face and a angry face. He probably feels that with conflicting strong emotions he can't think "breath".
I think that the title matches the cover because with conflicting emotions it may get harder to go about life as normally one would. I also know a person cannot breath underwater. I also know that this title probably is metaphoric but also can be deemed literal.
Based on the words on the cover, the book looks like it's about a girl. Maybe a guy lost his girlfriend and he can't get her back. He's probably really angry about it, and that's why the word anger is on the cover page. He must have really loved her, and not being with her is like breathing under water.
I think the author means that it's really hard to lose somebody. Especially somebody that you really care about. It's really painful to not be with them anymore. When you lose somebody that you really love and you can't get the back, it feels like you're breathing under water.
From what I saw on the cover my first thought is that it could be about a person with two personalities.Because of the toe different faces on one head.Them when I started to read the words I first thought it could be about a bout a boy with anger issues. I think the book is going to be about a boy with a very hard and complicated life and wants to get his girlfriend back.
because of the title I think it could be about a experiment on how to be able to breath under water. or it could be that he feels like he is drowning in hard times,Since he can't breath under water. This title could meal almost anything.
It seems like the word anger in it is important because it stands out and the words above and below it keep getting smaller and smaller. I see that it might be about a guy like a girl be couse above anger it sways get her and hit her. I see that the boy has a face drawn on him to and he looks angry about something. I have a feeling that it might be telling some one in the book that the girl is important.
I don't understand the name of the book and how it applies with the words and the picture. I wonder if the words applies to the book and if the name of the book means something other then Breathing Underwater.
The book could be about a young boy, trying to find out what his parents did in the past, to make them how they are now. The book could also be about, a man going through a hard time in life, and just trying to work through them. It could also be about, two men butting heads, and fighting over a girl they both love, and want to be with. I think this book could be about a young boy trying to find where he belongs, and it's not an easy thing to do in his case.
I think what the author is trying to mean by the title is that, yes you can't breath underwater, but you can breath under the surface. Breathing under the surface isn't easy, but do able. Being able to breath under the surface, it's easier said then done. Yes you may struggle at first . But it gets easier the longer you do it, just like going through hard times, the longer you do it the easier it gets
On the cover of the book, what I got from it was that it was a kid struggling to control is anger, because of the face that was drawn on the other side. Their was something about a girl and getting her back. It could mean that he wants to win her back over to his side? Or it could mean that he wants to get revenge on her? Who will know?
Also what I got from it was, that the author is using the title as a metaphor.
The cover art makes me think that the guy Is covering up anger issues. The explicit words like(give her back)and(angry).Maybe even a split personality.Because of the second face that forms from the main picture.
I think the book is going to be about split personality, anger issues, and out of control emotions.Mostly because of the pictures signs of anger, confusion, and mockery. The tittle as we'll plays a part in this.Alike to saying he is over his head in his problems, trying to breath underwater.
I believe the book will be about a kid trying to act normal even though he is bullied. He might eventually get mad and blow up. Maybe he gets mad at people and seeks revenge. Maybe he hurts some innocent people.
I think the author is comparing being bullied to drowning. It is very painful being bullied, and drowning. He is comparing the pain using a metaphor. He wants it to stick out and let it still seem simple.
Continued... The metaphor that I thought he was using was when he titled the book " breathing underwater " that he was. That the main character was in over his head. That he was in a lot of trouble and could not get out of it.
