This is deeper than the surface. I believe that we all come into this world innocent and pure and the hardships change the very essence of who we are. It's hard to decipher sometimes whether the change was good or bad, but usually it's just something that strengthens us and prepares us for trials to come. It makes me sad that you think you've been changed for worse.
