Do/Don't Essay

Let me tell you the best-kept secret about high school. It's easy. The two hardest things i did in high school were: 1. Waking up in the morning And 2. Doing my homework. At first these things seemed hard, but, if you just do it, it's actually pretty easy.

I'm not saying high school is entirely easy but most of it is. You might not get along with anybody, get bullied, or get in with the wrong crowd, but the school part is really easy. All you have to do is pay attention in class, do your work, and ask for help if you need it. If you do those things, high school will be a lot easier.

I've put together a list of do's and don't's about surviving high school.

Do: Go to class. If you skip class it might seem good at the time, but it will cause a lot of trouble in the long run, especially if you do it frequently.

Don't: Hang out with the "bad" kids. They'll start dragging you down and eventually mess up your life if you keep doing bad things. I know this from experience.

Do: Pay attention in class. It will make your work a whole lot easier and all you have to do is listen. It's not that complicated.

Don't: Procrastinate. I'm a victim of procrastination and it's not fun. It gets you further behind and you'll end up trying to do a lot of work at the last minute.

Do: Remember to turn in your work. If you do that you won't have to turn it in late and lose points even though you had it completed on time.

Even though people say it's hard Don't believe them. If you follow these Do's and Don't's, high school will be very easy.

This is entirely true! I would always cut class, but I was young and foolish. I didn't care about my future. I only cared about what was happening in the moment. Tunnel vision! Another don't would be not to get kicked out or suspended, I know that from expericence as well.
