Do/Don't Essay

Let me tell you the best-kept secret about listening to music. It's rad. The two hardest things with music are, music theory. The second appreciate every type of music and respect people's taste in music

Music theory is a theory about learning how to play music by ear. Music is beautiful. Try to appreciate every type of music. Even if you Don't like rap or metal Or even country.  It's ok to not like that music it's just there's always going to be good things in that music. Ya know? Here's a list of Do's and Don'ts when trying to listen or play music.

Do: Listen and learn your favorite types of music. Or even expressing them in band T's or hats or anything of the sort. Be proud of the music your favorite musician has created.

But Don't: Be so narrow minded on only one type of genre. Rap isn't everything. Metal isn't everything. Country isn't everything if you can open that music eye and see that there is good in each type of music. You'll be more intelligent towards all music.

Do: Learn as much instruments as you can. Treat music as your baby. Your instruments are like the sperm. It is your gateway to having a beautiful music baby.

Don't: Be scared to perform in front of people if you rap, play guitar, play drums or sing. They're the fools that came and see your skills. Don't puss out on them and look like an even bigger goof than you actually are. Show dem beautiful skills.

Do: Appreciate the classics like Journey, Johnny Cash, the Beatles, etc.... you don't have to like them. At least appreciate what they had to offer into the world then and now.

But for the love of everything that is good and holy in the world, don't: Be a drag. Don't be afraid to express yourself. Love the music you love. Appreciate the music that you don't like. Music will always be there for you. Love her like you'd love anything else.

Dang man that's what's up . I like how you said to open the mind. That's so true because people are narrow headed. Keep the mind open and love the essay

I like your don't about being narrow minded I'm from the country so originally it was country but I've changed my ways living in the city for a bit and I like many types of music now and I don't think I'll be able to like one specific type of music ever again

Jordan,
I think it's i there's ting that you described music as a "her" in the end. I actually really like that. :) I love that you said to appreciate the classics whether or not you like them. I happen to love them! This is a beautiful piece. :)
