Do/Don't Essay

Let me tell you the best kept secret about rapping it's easy. The two hardest things I do in flowing is extending your mind to rhyme with bigger worlds with unique meanings and. Giving  the story everyone wants.

I don't mean to imply that life in the rapping game is easy it's not. But the flowing it self is pretty easy whether your at bad boy records, death row or things records. For example biggie smalls was a crack dealer and went to puff daddy and got a deal to record And he became the best rapper (in my opinion) his style was the most unique I've ever heard.

Because Rapping is so easy  a lot of rappers rap about anything without spreading a message or saying anything worthwhile this is a mistake. Because when your music isn't serious no one takes you serious look at tres locos they rap about sex and drugs and barley anyone listens to them. They aren't as famous as like I said Biggie Smalls rapped about life struggles he said things to attract the listeners attention.

DO: Be real no one wants to hear a studio gangster (lies in his/her music) because if you want to be famous be real about where you came from and what you did.

DO NOT: swear to much if all you music is s word b word c word no one will listen your trying to pull the listeners attention not swear their ear off.

DO:  Try to keep up with the beat the song sounds way better and people think your music is "poppin " and good to listen to.

DO NOT: think your song is still good if you don't rhyme stop there if it don't rhyme it don't shine people want to see your vocabulary rhyme with things PLEASE!

DO: keep your mind open to learning new words the more you do that the better at rapping you will get.

DO NOT: discourage yourself there is no such thing as a perfect rapper if someone thinks you suck it's okay that's their opinion and you can't change it.

DO :  keep yourself loyal to where your from never forget your roots.

DO NOT : always rap about the same thing change it up no one wants to hear about the same thing.

DO: try to keep a positive message if it's always bad you'll pretty much lead kids the wrong way.

Well these are just a couple things you should refrain from when trying to rap. Rapping shouldn't always be the first priority have a back up plan. Like a job so if your rap game don't pan out you still make money. No matter what stay in school that's something's most rappers don't do but if you do than you can get a masters in your back up plan and probably you will make more money than you did in the rap game. But always have the dream of being a rapper most rappers were just like us than they go a shot they started where we are if they can do it why not us ?

These are words of wisdom. Don't swear a lot in your songs it just makes it pointless to listen to. Make you music from what's in your heart.

I'm not that good at flow or even rapping in that matter but I know how to transition from chords on guitar. I feel like once you get the hang of it it becomes easy... I don't know if that's the case but I like the points you made.

I agree with not rapping about the same things over and over again. There are rappers out there who only sing about getting stoned and having sex. I like it when artists sing about numerous topics. Have fun with your gift of rapping.

I like that you you talked about swearing. When I try to freestyle I use swear as sort of a fill and now I think my flow will be better if I try not to swear as much.

Wow Victor, I didn't know you could rap. You make some good points. By the way I love Biggie Smalls, he's a good rapper. I think if you keep this mentality you can make it just like Biggie did, keep chasing your dream.
