So there is my favorite mistake I've ever made. Now if you ever want to rip apart your family like I did just follow my example, but if you want a good relationship with your family I would recommend not going down this path to misery and hell. So stay good and don't becomes a big turd for your family.

My Favorite Mistake
My favorite mistake I ever made was the night that I got locked up. It has got to be the best thing that has ever happened to me because of all that was going on at my home last year.
It was A cold winter night and I went out car hopping and went into a back yard to look at this really cool patio that somebody had built or had had put in for them and the person came out and threw me off his property and called the cops and let me go home.
When I finally got home I had one hundred and twenty-eight dollars in my pocket. I was being stupid and took out the money i had stolen and counted it and while I was counting it the cops went around the back to where my window was and looked through it while I was counting the money I had stolen and then they went around to the front and knocked on my front door and I was stupid enough to open up the door and get my mom involved and my mom let them go and search my room where they found the money I had stolen. So they took me around to all the houses that it had taken money from and woke them up at like 2:30 in the morning and then took me to detention where I stayed for twenty one days.
I was then put into O&A for 36 days. Then from there I went ARTEC West Boys A&D rehab center where I stayed for 6 months. I then moved on to proctor care which is where I am now.
So there is my favorite mistake I've ever made. Now if you ever want to rip apart your family like I did just follow my example, but if you want a good relationship with your family I would recommend not going down this path to misery and hell. So stay good and don't becomes a big turd for your family.

Well man you messed up by going in that's guys back yard but I have made a mistake like that I was pullin a lick and hit up a house and often I went to there nabobs house and smashed there pumpkins and then a guy called the cops while he and his friend was chasin me and my niggas we ran way out to the other side of the town and a cop came out of now where and chased us up to this girls house that i now and we ran in the front and right out the back and got a way and the girls parents snitched us out but I learnd that don't invole other people with you problems
That really blows. It's pretty down that you actually used this as a learning experience. Many people go to dt and spend the entire time doing nothing but feeling bad for themselves, being selfish, and complaining over everything. Lol I just got out of slate canyon on the third of September. I was there for about 46 days and with every new "group" of people who came to the unit it was irritating hearing every single complaint. Like you I was able to use the stay as something positve. You have a good head on your shoulders if you mean what you typed. Anywhere can be paradise. Even a cell. It's about perspective. That's what I got from reading your story.
This sucks, but you had a choice and going thorough this is a small step in the right direction. Life becomes more complicated when we don't do the right thing and I think we've all experienced that. Don't make the same mistake again expecting the same result, that's insanity,
I love how you're so conscious of the impact this had on your family. It's so important to be aware of that. I believe that since you learned this lesson, one day when you have a family of your own you'll manage to keep it together.
Lol this story sounds like the one Nate and Justin talked about one night.. so im assuming this is all you Justin. I like this story because I used to car hope all the time and get iPods, money and other illegal stuff that I can't talk about on here. But anyway I think if " getting lock up was the best night of your life " than bro you need to fix some things. Family may have played a big role of you getting locked up but sooner or later you gotta take some accountability and change because I know youre a cool kid. You got a lot of good things commingled for you!!! 😄
